The Vibary Newsletter Placements Service opens a new medium for you to reach the technology-proficient local users. It is also affordable, allowing you to explore this new advertising channel economically.

Please see the side box on the left for the current pricing. In general, the cost is about 1¢ per e-mail address. It can be a little more or a little less since our e-mail list continuously changes. We keep receiving new Vibary members and adding new e-mails from local sources. We periodically purge our list off undeliverable addresses. We also honor "do-not-email" requests and remove those e-mails from our list.

You need a landing web page to receive the users when they click on your text ad. The landing page can be a web page on your web site if you have one.

Another solution is to use the Vibary Listing Services to list your offer. Your text ad then points to this listing page hosted on the Vibary Network. You can list your calendar event, coupon, promotion, classified, or yellow page; and use the Newsletter Placement ad to promote your listings further.

If you choose the Newsletter Placement in combination with a Vibary Listing, see if you advantage of the Free Listings that are part of your VIP Membership. With Free Listings, you save the separate listing fees; you only pay the Newsletter Placements fee.

We suggest that you use the same techniques you are currently using to track your advertisements (such as having a different phone number or coupon code, or asking the clients).

In addition, the Internet technology allows us to provide you with the following information:

1. The number of e-mails sent
2. The number of e-mails actually opened
3. The number of times your listing is viewed

The second number shows you the number of users who have a chance to see and remember your business name, even if they do not click on your text ad.

The third number can only be provided if you use the Vibary Listing Services for your landing page. If your landing page is on your own web site, you can ask your webmaster to track this number for you.
