You can change the default home page of your browser to automatically bring up the Vibase page whenever you open a new browser window, or whenever you click on the Home icon on the navigation bar of the browser. This change saves you from typing the Web address of the Vibase, which by the way, is any of the following:

  • http://chi.vibase.net
  • https://chi.vibase.net

 If you don't know yet how to do the change, let Sweepey show you the steps.
 
Step 1
Find out what browser you are currently using.

Sweepey has detected the following information from your browser.

  • Browser short name: Default
  • Browser version: 0.0
  • Browser platform: unknown
If the above information is not helpful, you can find out about your Web browser by clicking the Help button in the navigational bar of your Web browser, and selecting the "About ..." entry.
 
Step 2
Make the change.
After you have identified your browser, select the corresponding instruction to make the change.
  
Netscape Navigator
Netscape Communicator 4.0
  1. Click "Edit" on menu bar
  2. Click "Preferences"
  3. Click the "Home Page" radio button
  4. In the "Location" text box, enter the Web address of the Vibase.
  5. Click "OK."
Netscape Navigator 3.0
  1. Click "Options" on menu bar
  2. Click "General Preferences..."
  3. Select "Appearance" tab
  4. In the "Startup" section, click the "Home Page Location" button
  5. In the text box, enter the Web address of the Vibase.
Internet Explorer
Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.0
  1. Go to the Vibase home page
  2. Click the "Tools" menu and choose "Internet Options."
  3. Click on the "General" tab
  4. Click on the "Use Current" button.
  5. Click "OK."
Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.0
  1. Go to the Vibase home page
  2. Click the the "View" menu and choose "Internet Options."
  3. Click on the "General" tab
  4. Make sure the box next to "Page" reads "Start Page."
  5. Click on the "Use Current" button.
  6. Click "OK."
Microsoft Internet Explorer 3.0
  1. Go to the Vibase home page
  2. Click the the "View" menu and choose "Options."
  3. Click on the "Start and Search Pages" or "Navigation" tab.
  4. Make sure the box under "Home Page" reads "Address."
  5. Click on the "Use Current" button.
  6. Click "OK."
